Hey guys, you probably haven't noticed but I have been un-active on posts because... 1. A grade 7 at school said he was gonna kill me O-O Then I had to talk with the office and wutever 2. My dog was going on weird and limp, then we had to bring him to vet's yesterday, and she said the only thing we could do was put him down :'( So yeah, :( :( :( now everyone is sad :I :( ~Jake >:C

Chapter IX of "A Darker Story"

This one's a shorty.

Appropriate for all ages.

Chapter IX

            Rose’s eyes shone as greeted the citizens of the other kingdoms. They seemed so kind to her, but then again she was the princess. And the higher royalty! She thought. Once the winner of the competition was determined, she wouldn’t have to worry about leaving. Since the Cold Heart Kingdom was more powerful, her future husband would be the new prince of the Cold Heart Kingdom. Someone nudged her harshly, and she turned around sharply, about to snap at whoever could be so rude-but then she saw who it was, and her gaze softened.

            “Thorn. Are you okay?” He looked bedraggled and nervous. Thorn shook his head. “Are you as nervous as I am?”

            “No way! I’m excited!” She paused to look at him. “Why are you nervous for my wedding?”

            Thorn shook his head again. “I don’t know. I’m probably fine, just tired.” He smiled at her. “Your wedding will be great. I promise.”

            But Rose didn’t seem so sure. Thorn’s nervousness had made her realize that if she looked deep inside her heart, she was reluctant to get married to any of these princes. And something else… regret. Regret that she couldn’t have someone else…

Chapter VIII of "A Darker Story"

Appropriate for all ages!

Chapter VIII

            Tiger snapped at Harold as he let out an ear-shattering scream. “You’re so loud, I bet they could hear you in the Lighter Kingdoms!”

            Harold sniffed as he tried to step out of the thick, goopy, slimy brown mud. Tiger looked around, trying to find a way out of what could potentially be the death of all of them.

            “Look! Why do we follow Tiger? He leads us all into mud!” Tiger didn’t have to turn around to know that the rude comment came from Talon. Tiger thought fast. “Okay,” he nodded. “I know what we have to do here. We can’t use our strength, so we have to use our brains.”

            Talon rolled his eyes and groaned. The rest of the princes had uncertainty in their eyes as they slowly agreed.

            “Okay, almighty Tiger, what do you suggest?” Talon sneered. Tiger looked around and immediately perked up as he saw the small Silver struggling in the mud. “Silver!” He barked. “Stop moving.”

            Silver’s eyes widened and he shook his head violently. Tiger looked him straight in the eyes. “Trust me. I won’t let any of you get hurt.”

            Silver took a deep breath and relaxed. To everyone’s surprise, he floated to the top! Tiger smiled as he gave instruction to Silver. “Okay. Grab that stick and climb onto that rock over there, closest to us. Right, okay, everyone’s going to wade over there. You pull us out, okay?”

            Soon everyone was out, and Yellow managed to sniff out a clear path.

            Before they knew it, they found themselves at the end of the passage. Yellow trotted up to the two goblets on the wooden table and inspected them. “There a-seems to be a-something a-written on some a-papers over a-here!” He shouted, them opened his mouth to read them. Talon shoved Yellow aside, wanting to be the important one here.

            “All of you must drink out of one goblet. One contains a powerful poison that will kill you all slowly, and the other contains the small key out of here. Choose wisely.”

            Talon reached to pick one up hesitantly, then handed it to Tiger. “All of you can drink it,” he laughed, “so that if it’s the poison, I’ll win.”

            Tiger growled and snatched the paper off the table and looked over it, then turned to the goblets. He looked inside each and began to laugh. “They’re both the same!”

            “No,” Harold yelped. “This one’s liquid is blue. The other is green!”

            “So?” Tiger shrugged. “A key dipped in poison placed in water will poison it, no matter what. And the colors are from the goblets, not the poison.”

            Tiger grabbed both goblets and dumped the poison out. A small key fell out of both. Tiger picked one up and felt around for a door. The unlocking of it brought a welcome burst of warm, blinding sunlight as the princes burst out of the chamber. The king ran over to welcome them, immediately recognizing Tiger as the winner of this round. “Smart fellow!” Malicis commented, and then nodded to a few guards, who took the key from Tiger and nudged the princes into another dark room.

            But this time, it didn’t stay dark. Torches mysteriously lit themselves, and the princes were greeted with their next challenge: a giant maze.

I have noticed, OUR CITIZEN PAGE HAS 200 COMMENTS. As most of you guys don't know, There is a limit to comments on pages. 200 comments on the citizen page. It's reached it's max :3. So...

ADMINS. I had promoted a few of you a while back to moderate comments. As I have yet to notice any spam bots, I need you all to remove the citizen page comments THAT HAVE ALREADY BEEN POSTED. It would be a complete mess if a new comment was deleted. So... BE CAREFUL. Also, I'd be happy if some one could finish deleting all comments on the Contests page as well ^-^

Also, there are some jobs needed to be added to the job page ^-^ Jester, Farmer, Innkeeper, Stablehand (As Willows the stable master :3). And... We have too many warlocks ;3; I'm feeling my job isn't special anymore, as so many are coming 0-0. Could we close the warlock space for a while? >w< I think every job has the right to feel special. Currently, DUNGEON KEEPERS are rarer than WARLOCKS themselves. I would update myself, but it isn't my place to update someone else's page, being helpful or no. I have my page and intend to stick to it :3 And Oak, as you asked a while back, the households page is yours for the taking! And a certain someone has updated my page without asking :| This warlock doesn't like that.

Chapter VII of "A Darker Story"

FINALLY GOT AROUND TO IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Chapter VII

            Tiger held up his paw and swallowed, not sure where to go, waiting for his eyes to adjust to the darkness. He could hear the other princes panicking. Talon groaned that the darkness would ruin his fabulous coat, Harold yelped that he was afraid of the dark, Yellow was running into walls, and Silver was unsuccessfully trying to calm them down.

            “ENOUGH!” Tiger silenced the group with a roar. His eyes fully adjusted, he searched the group. “We’ll never get anywhere if you do this! We need to work together as a team.”

            Talon snorted. “Never! We’re enemies, remember?” The rest of the princes nodded their heads and murmured agreement.

            Tiger stalked towards the princes and hissed viciously. “Would you rather die?”

            The princes were silenced immediately, except for Talon, who snorted and walked up to the red snow leopard. “Okay, leader, what’s the plan?”

            Tiger detected the sneer in Talon’s voice and realized he was set on winning. Tiger took a deep breath and pointed his tail forward. “We have to walk that way. Don’t depend so heavily on your sight; use your other senses more.”

            The group proceeded forward, with Tiger in the front and a clearly upset Talon dropping to the back.

            The mumbling of the crowd as they walked off to the festivities the villagers had prepared drowned out Thorn’s voice as he tried to speak to Rose. He frowned as the fifth attempt to communicate was once again, unheard. He waited for the majority of the animals to leave and gestured for Rose to follow him. Once they were out of the view of the others, Thorn reached into his satchel and pulled out a small dark blue amulet on a silver chain and handed it to Rose.

            “What is it?” She breathed as she accepted it.

            Thorn smiled. “It’s a magic amulet. It takes you where you really, in your deepest depths, want to go.” Thorn turned his head away. “It’s a gift. For your wedding, you know.”

            Rose smiled and hugged Thorn. “Oh Thorn, you’re so sweet!” Rose dropped the amulet in her dress pocket and leaped up. “Want to go look at the festivities? The villagers are proud of their creation!”

            Thorn got up to follow Rose. “Sounds great!”

            As they were walking, Thorn jumped suddenly. Rose turned her head to look at him questioningly. “You alright?”

           

            Thorn swallowed. “I thought I heard a scream…”

            Rose laughed. “Silly guard! You’re so jumpy!”

Thorn nodded uncertainly and asked cautiously, “How do you think the princes are doing?”

Rose shrugged. “I have no idea. I just hope they don’t die.”

Hi! Happy Earth day :P Poppy's Earth day party just ended! It was fun :D We got prizes for dressing up and yeah, but.. vampwolf838 said, "I hate the earth." Hey guys so I have seen some of you say that you don't know how to make a signature. Well I have a walkthrough on how to make a signature on my blog. I don't post on it anymore, it was a short-lived blog but still has some cool posts. There was scam on the comments- ads and things- so I think you have to put in word verification to post a comment. So that's why the comments are like that if you are wondering.

Hey guys! As Willow posted, Silver Ratio is our winner for the Emblem! :D Horrayyyy! Okay I said an idea for the adventure, when yeah we meet up like we do at ball and do together, (Sorry my posts are always short, well I am working on a story to post) last of all, FUZZY. DUN DUN DUN XD I dont know if shes Shadowfur or not, because last night she was talking to her dog Sparky and he gave her a wish to be Fuzzy..? But I dont know if she took it cause I left her den, and yeah AND HAWKSPIRIT ALMOST DIED ;O He told me that the fireflies in his jar... if they get hurt or die he dies too, and he only has one left so we have to be careful around him.. So the 'Human Version' Contest entries are all in. I am so happy that you guys entered.
I had a few mishaps with the pictures. I couldn't save Erica or Oak's pictures properly. I tried everything and they would just not save properly. They saved but wouldn't download into a post. Its sort of hard to explain.
Also, I think someone submitted an entry in a post but I went through every post and couldn't find it so if that was yours please tell me and send me a link to the post.

Hello! Fuzzys wedding was great! It was funny when they kissed HEHEHEHE XD Then the after party was rlly fun but then they left to Glazes den.... but Peppy wasnt there! Postpone The Wedding?

I'm going to be 10-20 minutes late to the wedding, you can chat, party, etc... without me there, but I really want to be there when the actually marriage takes place. So I'm asking you; in fact I'm begging you to postpone it slightly. I hate to ask you all for this, but I don't want to be late. The Dark Prophecy (read posts below this post mostly means nothing)

The time has come, The prophecy has been set, Lights will go out. All will be sleeping. The race against death and time has come. A dark era is coming the kingdom will be broken and scattered. Anger will control us all. Prophecy's usually can never be broken, NEVER. But on a roleplay last night it happened some random person called Darkwind said, "-lights go out-" Then Oak ran off to wake anyone who was sleeping with a chainsaw! :P And Jake got murdered.... ~Random-person (I dunno Jake's dead wut do I post it under?!?)

Everyone, I just wanted to show you some things from the beginning of the kingdom. So that you could see how peaceful it used to be and how focused we were on rollplay rather then on the blog. Some of these videos are pretty recent but its still an example of rollplay. Heres some videos:

If you guys notice, many of these videos were posted in December. When the kingdom was new and just starting. So take a look at those and I hope that we can change and be more like how we used to be. It was way more fun back then.

Also, can someone please confirm when the ball is???? Everyone is saying its around 6:00 but like.... what time zone? Hello people! I am on pacific time and I don't know if ill be able to go to the ball because I have a soccer thing at 6:00 so please confirm the time zone! PLEASE!

Right now, the huge issue seems to be the whole "Don't post above" thingy.

Well, it's gone on long enough!

It's simple. If someone has an important post, you should be respectful enough to not post above for a while. If you must, please provide a link and say it's important or something.

Now I'm definitely not saying that people have an excuse to bang on Violet or Willow. Violet was being harmless and voicing her opinion. Willow was posting an important post. So the law won't be passed, okay guys? No need to whine, argue, and fight, okay?

Bottom line: Let. It. Go. I'm tired of this whole argument and people being rude to both Violet and Willow, and the argument really hasn't gone on that long. I really don't want to hear any more on this subject.

If someone posts an important post that says "Don't post above" respect them. Please.

Now, not wanting to be rude, but everyone please shut up about this issue (including myself!)

ugh ok, the kingdom is under alot of stress... especially today. ok first off oak has a prohecy " the race against death and time has come.. A dark era is coming. the kingdom will be broken and scattered. anger will control us all..." she says she might know what it means, now another topic with all the fighting thats been going on, i'm surprized i'm still here, i've thought about quitting but something held me back; my friends they've shown me how even tho times may be though, things will get better. heck if it weren't for them i whouldn't have an e-mail! and... i'd be bored everyday with nothing to look forward to, but ever since celestial towers came into my life i felt like i was part of something, a community where everyone cared, and looked out for eatch-other, and y'know why there are these; maya-macs, and mystery persons? it's because they don't know that feeling that this place has, a warm feeling that everytime you vist your greeted by friends and maybe even a few laughs. and all of us whouldn't be here if it weren't for the fabolous queen herself; queen peppy rainystar roil! and eventho she may not be that active she still runs the best animal jam kingdom i've ever seen.

We gotta stop.

I can't rlly handle it and lots of people can't either I have seen 3 people saying they wanna quit the kingdom today, including me. *sighs* Sorry I'm sighing so much but this is just rlly annoying EVERYONE WHO HAS BEEN HURT OF STRESSED TODAY IN THE KINGDOM!, COMMENT ON THIS SAYING YOU'RE SORRY TO EVERYONE EVEN IF YOU DID NOTHING I'LL COMMENT TOO! "Don't Post Above," Comments, and Uncivil Behavior

I can't pass the law the states "Don't Post Above," I'm not taking sides, I just don't want to pass a law based on opinion that won't enhance role play.  I'm so sorry. I believe it's just respectful not to post above a post that somebody put a lot of work into, enough said. I don't feel I should have to explain that you can save your post for later. It's hard to go through 3-8 posts at a time, and it's stressful to think you might have missed something important. I'm sorry Vi. I've saved posts for later to make it easier for citizens to read through the posts just out of respect, and I don't think that the other authors should have to post "Don't Post Above," because we shouldn't be posting above without at least leaving a link if the post is, or could possibly be important to someone.  It's simply respectful, and if we want to regain our kindness, and close ties with each other, we need to respect each other. It's as simple as that. Moving on, I'm not going to make laws that we don't need. If something's annoying, I'm not going to rule it out, we need some freedom. If something's hurting someone, sure, make it a law not to do said thing, or even if it can enhance role play  go ahead, make it so, but we can't have laws that are based solely on opinions. If you don't agree with something you can tell someone, but do it civilly at the least.
Try to say something in the lines of, "I apologize in advance, but I couldn't find a way to come to terms with the idea, would you like to find a happy medium? Maybe we could improvise? This seems to forward, let's cut each other some slack."
Don't say, "No offence, but I hate this. I don't want this in the kingdom, because it's stupid," alright? Realize I put "no offence," at the beginning of the sentence. Why, you ask? Because, if you know somethings going to be, and/or will be offensive don't say it. Don't. I love the fact you're all human beings, with opinions, but when you bluntly state your opinion is better than someone elses, you need to stop. You need to consider your life, your goals, what you just did, why you did it, and what you've done to this person's feelings. I'm sick, and tired of comments that read the most uncivil, disgusting things. If you rant, fine. If you rage, fine. If you say something bias, grammatically incorrect, rude, and/or selfish, you need to get out, now. The comments on Violet's post were unacceptable, and both Violet, and Willow are getting way too much (for lack of a better word) crap, for their own opinions. Why? I mean, just why! Because they aren't conventional, because you don't agree with them? I apologize from the depths of my soul, but I won't pass laws that pertain to opinions that won't enhance role play. The NN law is fine, who knows, it might even open up a whole new realm of awesome, but maybe it's best if it doesn't get passed. Who knows? I myself don't want to completely rule it out, but if it comes to that, I won't complain.

Role-plays, and dragons

Hello, like Violet said our role-play's are slowly coming apart, (PLEASE READ HER POST BELOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!) But i'm sort of with that but i'm sort of not cause I have them everyday and Violet says she's not in them, maybe people aren't letting her in? I dunno :I I really think we should have a ball soon, after Fuzzy's wedding cuz it's tomorrow :D Be sure to come all lot of people in the comments when I say something about the wedding, IM LOOKING AT YOU ROSEY XD, say "what time is it?" I really don't know Peppy needs to say a time :I Anyway after Fuzzy's wedding I think we should have another ball :P, but before that imma dragon =-= ANDDDD im stuck like it .3. Follow up to my last post (read my last post before reading this) IMPORTANT

So as I said in my last post, I think the kingdom is different and more aggressive then it once was. But its more then that. It really doesn't feel like a kingdom anymore. I mean, we call it a kingdom, but is it really a kingdom?
When celestial towers began we had rollplays and balls constantly. There were mini plays like every day and practically every time you went on AJ you had a rollplay. Now, to be honeset, I don't know if this is just me, but I don't think I have actually done a rollplay in like a full month. And I miss it.
We have been worrying more about the blog... but what about the kingdom? I mean, really, we have been freaking out about admins and all that stuff when what we should be worrying about are balls and rollplays and how they are disappearing. Its sad to me how the kingdom has shifted from aj to the blog. I mean, we even rollplay on the blog. Using chatroll. How stupid is that when you could be doing aj?
Anyways, I just think we need to realize that this is supposed to be a kingdom. Its supposed to be a rollplay community. Not a chat blog or a gossip thingy. Just think about it guys. We need to change. Actually, we have changed, we need to un-change. We need to go back to how we used to be.
Please consider this. And keep your mean comments inside. We don't want to hear them.

Lastly, I think that because of all these harsh words and all this change and the fact that we need rollplay we should have a large kingdom get together. I mean, I feel like we have so many citizens and I don't even know like half of you. So I think we should have a HUGE KINGDOM GET TOGETHER. We can meet one another and just chat and hang out. Please no drama or evil just keep everything calm. This is to talk things through and stuff. Tell me about when your open for this stuff.

Lastly, do you guys hate me? Please be honest. I feel like there have been a lot of mean and rude stuff aimed toward me and im a main topic of conversation and I feel like people are talking behind my back. Please tell me if I am doing something wrong. All im doing is trying to help this kingdom that I know and love and if I am gaining enemies then that makes me sad. I don't want to be the mean one. I really don't. Im just a natural leader. Its who I am. So im sorry if that annoys you but im like that in person too so yeah. Well please think about all of these topics and please comment. I am hoping that anyone who reads this post will comment. I want to know all your thoughts about all these topics.

Rudeness within the kingdom

Hey guys. So as most of you know I have been part of this kingdom from the very beginning and I have watched it change. Now, I have to say its like eras. Like eras or a new age. There's like the new age- when the kingdom was new- the mystery age- when there was mystery people- and now the rude age. Yes, and I mean it. I feel like our kingdom has become very aggressive and rude. We are so judgmental and mean. Its just not fun. I mean, I'm sorry if you didn't like my idea of the no posting above law, but it was just a suggestion okay! Someone posted this:

Hey guys! I'd just like to stay on top of things going around in the blog, so can you guys please do a few things? Okay, thanks! It's simple, really.

Dont post above and Laws

Hey guys, so I just wanted to make this post about how Willow has been making many posts saying 'do not post above'. Well I just wanted to say that I am sort of against saying this. I know you want people to read your posts but it is their fault if they choose to only read the first post they see. Every time I go on to celestial towers I scroll through all the new posts and read them all. So if someone chooses not to read through all the posts, it is their fault that they missed the post. Tell me your thoughts about this potential new law.

More about laws. I need this law voted on. I will add a poll to the side of the blog under the poll about the contest and you can vote for the laws to be passed. Here are the two laws that will be posted:

1) The NN law (no saying NN in rollplay)
2) The 'don't post above' law (no saying 'don't post above' in posts)

Also, if you guys didn't know, I am the admin of the laws page. So if this is my job ;)

Seems the contest is going well. :D But I'm here to talk about the former kingdom STORIES.

As we can see, our stories page is now a separate blog :3 And the stories page is now a contest one ^.^ We still have all the stories on it, but I am going to delete all comments on Thursday! Be sure to move your stories here!

Now, after our contests are over on, Saturday, I presume? I think we need to do a Citizen Awards cerimony. We could have Peppy choose (Or you guys in the comments. ;) )which citizens have done the most for the kingdom since he/she joined :3 After a 2 - 3 day voteing, there will be 1st, 2nd, and 3rd best Citizen of the Month! I was thinking we could do this monthly, and someone could start a small blog showing when each winner won, what place he/she won, and the date :3 There would be no prize, as its prize enough to help the kingdom!

If you WANT to give prizes, then someone should donate the prize :3

Hello guys! ;3 We have 3 days left to pick the Emblem! >:O So far one's rlly winning XD, It says we have "16" votes we have more then 16 citizens! o: If you don't know where to vote its on the right side and you can choose from 1,2,3 and 4 but if you wanna see the pictures its on the left side which says "contests" and u can see them all (sorry Willow if im taking your idea and sort of post X3) Fuzzy's wedding will be on Friday! :P And my friend Molly is going away to Cuba (lucky her I was supposed to go with her family!!!!!*) So she wanted me to you all she'll be unactive on AJ but she'll read the blog on her ipod or phone of some sort to check whats new, oh and Fuzzy she says shes sorry she can't make your wedding :| Here's a story she made, Mollys Life, Part 1 I woke up every day, feeling the guilt hang on my shoulders, I was young back then, I thought I could lick it off so that's what I did. The smell lingered in my fur that's why the kids made fun of me, the smell of blood and stink. I didn't have a house, I lived in the forest peacefully but you know living in the forest? Danger around every corner, yup I got attacked by bears, dragons, germlins. But that. Germlins. They ruined my life not because the killed my mom but because they were small and you didn't see them coming, like I said before 'I was young' and back then they scared the jigs out of me! But they still do! But that's when I got kicked out of the town they said I was bad luck, the think im nothing but it really hurt. It did. She'll make a part 2 like she told me, WOW she has no mistakes >:O Well not germlins, I don't even know how to spell them!
